PROMOTION POLICY

Attendance

Every student must have a minimum of 75% attendance , failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in Final Examination/C.B.S.E Board Examination and promotion will not be granted.

Missed Periodic Test / Exams ( I – IX & XI )

  1. Missed any Periodic Test/Activity – No Retest will be conducted. The school reserves the right to take the decision of marking the student.
  2. Missed the Mid Term Exam – Retest will be conducted only once as per the schedule drawn within a month of conclusion of Mid Term Exam.
  3. Missed the Annual Exam – Retest to be conducted only once as per the schedule drawn (along with compartment cases).
  4. Pass Criteria
    Class VI – X

    As per the C.B.S.E guidelines – the student has to secure minimum 33% of marks in scholastic areas in each subject in the Annual Exam and 33% in the internal Assessment.

    Class XI & XII

    The student must secure 33% marks separately in theory & practical.

  5. Retest
  6. Class IX – XII

    A Student scoring less than 33% in one subject will be permitted for retest in that subject . A student scoring less than 33% in two subjects will be detained.

  7. Detention

      • Class Pre School - V No Detention

      • Class VI - VIII & XI As per C.B.S.E guidelines

      • Class IX, X & XII As per C.B.S.E guidelines
